black is a dominant color in a dog. yellow is a recessive. each dog has a pair of genes for color. if the sire is Bb and the dam is bb. some of the pups will be born yellow and some black... but if the sire is BB all the pups will be black even if the dam is bb because the sire has to pass at least one"B" and all B's are dominant even if one sets up in the pair. for a pup to be born yellow two b's have to pair up.
BB = black
Bb = black
bb = yellow
each parent passes one gene for color in this set up...
black dogs in the ybmc is not a full blooded bmc in my opinion. probably some type of hound or pitbull in the wood pile.

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog...
A hunting dog is born not made...
