I have to agree with halfbreed. If you want to hunt hogs or anything else with dogs you ain't just gonna buy your way into it, I don't give a chit how much money you have. Like he said with hounds, you can buy them and they will hunt out of the box. But if you get in it like that, hell, you probably don't have enough hunt in you to even try to keep up with a hound on runnin hogs. I've had me some mighty fine cur dogs in my time with this and didn't buy not the first one and take it to hunt within a week and be close to satisfied. The best way to go in my experience is to get well breed pups and spend some time with them. Hunt them with some good dogs. Show them some love and they will be able to feel what makes you tick and do what they can to be that. This will take a lot of time, patience, and failure but is to me, the only way you will be able to say honestly you have the best or as good of dogs is there is around. But bud unless your a serious execption to the rule, and I may be wrong, dogs are worth the time and effort you put into them yourself. Everyone is so proud of there best dog. Most of them have had that dog since it was a pup. And how many of y'all have ever seen someone SELL their best dog. Money doesn't make dogs people do.
