I agree with noah on one point we are all immigrants but there is one big big difference between the immigrants that we are vs the illegal immigrants being referred to here. Most of our ancestors came over on boats, passed through an immigration station and either went to work or joined the military to help either build or support the country and earned their rights to.be here. The illegal immigrants that flood through our borders now are not on record as even being in the country. There are many caught several times committing rapes, robberies, etc. and what do we do slap them on the wrist put them in jail.for a few weeks give them food and meds and then ship them back home so they can cross the border again to repeat the process. It seems really simple to me, in Mexico if you are caught there illegally you are thrown into a Mexican prison for an undisclosed amount of time basically till they get tired of holding you and Mexican jail is not like American jail... Then you may make it home or.you may be killed. In any other country in the world if you are caught there illegally you are severely punished or killed no questions asked. If they are here as a legal immigrant working on their citizenship then by all means let them stay and try to better themselves and their families situation, on the same note if they ate here illegally then they should be dealt with accordingly not rewarded by being able to stay in haven cities or able to get any government assistance that the have not and will not pay into to help support.
