i can agree with jagd and grittydog. our government needs to wash their mouth out with a load of buckshot and let us start over. there are to many yellow bellied chicken chit people who call themselves americans who are helping pull this country further into the crapper. i get tired of having to make a selection at an atm or a government number to have info displayed or spokein in english. reuben, if what you are saying is correct, that the old generation can speak english and the young would rather, then please explain to me why i have to make a language choice? you say you are from hispanic decent that was probably here before the majority of our ancectors came across, well i thought the hespanics came from the cross breeding of spaniard exploiers with the indians down that way. if i am wrong, please correct and inform me on the hispanic background.
i really dont care what part of the world you are from, if you are legal or illegal, learn to speak english. plain and simple. you come here legaly, stay long enough to apply for you citizenship, then you should learned to speak english by then. our gov shouldnt bend over backwards to change the natuarlization laws that allow you take the american oath in your native tounge. if you cant speak, dont want to or dont care to learn to speak english, then please feel free cull yourself. im no immigrant, just as none of yaw are if you were born here, but atleast be proud of being and american, no matter your heritage and learn to speak the language of this country. the international language is english, but yet this gov allows garbage to free flow into our country and doesnt give a dang if you speak english, as long you can get a fales SSN, cast a vote their directions. CLOSE OUR BORDERS, as reuben said, before we sink.
