Whew, what a week it has been! I am glad to have had some real good r&r time and am actually ready to hit the road again.
I worked the crap out of that gyp this week and had a great time doing it. Didn't end up with a trailer full of hogs like some folks (cough-tshelly,van dorn,cward-cough)
but still had a great week of putting her lil butt to work. Ended up with 6 caught by her this week and 1 real good sow with Kevin Daniels dog duke striking and baying it and my big yeller "catch dog" Skeeter grabbin ear. And 1 feisty mean lil boar with Josh Heffernans dogs. That was a fun one, alligator infested swamp and all.
Josh as always was more than ready to go for his weekly swamp water bath
while I have become more of a pretty boy in my old age preferring to wait on the bank until I hear gurgles or screaming
but as he has a way of doing, he somehow got me in the water once again. Thanks josh
Man I'm on top of the world right now with good times, good friends and good dogs! Even possibly picked up 2 new spots with my time off this week!!
My next long stint of down time will be in 2 weeks, any of y'all close to H town wanna drop dogs when I get back??
I bet big E will make a round with you when you get back... As long as it is daylight hours. He can hunt during the week! Y'all can hunt the three littermates together abd see what they can get done
