kamrin said it was distimper. i guess i need to hit all my dogs with the distimper vaccine just incase
That sucks. Distemper is part of the 7-way shots. One thing some people don't think about is temperature. If my feedstore does not get it shipped cold, and stored cold i won't buy them. I also take a cooler with me when i get them and i only live 6 miles from the feed store and they go right in the fridge. If the shots get warm they are not effective and a waste of money. anything can happen until the 3rd shot with extreme circumstances. I had a bout with parvo 17 years ago and the vet told me to start at 5 weeks and go with 4 total shots. That with bleaching my feet and hands before i enter my pen to handle young pup's and weekly bleaching of the pen i have never had another sick pup. Just worms and the norm. Mine don't even touch the ground until the 2nd shot. Maybe overkill but i have had ALOT of puppies since over the years and knock on wood have only lost some to mother nature and mom laying on one, Never from being sick.
