I was always a silent dog guy til I got a plot puppy. Now he's 18 mos old. I am liking the open mouth a little. He opens when he strikes then just locates every so often then when he looking he sounds like he's got his balls hung on barbed wire fence. It's the longest bawl I've ever heard with a little chop between. Its easy for other dogs to locate him. Long as they don't just babble every breath on track and are quiet in the box I'm good with it.
