freeze branding or tattooing??

Freeze branding you need multiple people assist restraining the dog. Duct tape legs together and around mouth. No matter how big and strong you are they are gonna thrash around. You better be steady with the iron or it will come out to wide or not clear. When you slap iron rock it back and forth in a circling motion until it burns in good.

Paint branding.

Buy some hair dye in the contrasting color from the dog being branded.

Mix your dye with the application gel and pour into a plastic plate.
Let it sit and thicken in open air for about 5 to 10 min and get darker.
Take dog out by itsself and leash it to a fence or wire up high so they cannot sit down easily.
Dip brand into gel numerous times until brand face is saturated heavily with gel.
Then just press brand onto location that you desire branded and momentarily rock back and forth and pull brand directly off.

Let gel dry and its good for several months of hard hunting.

Check gel to.make sure its dry before placing dogs back in kennel together or they will rub up against each other or will sit down on the back hips and cause smudging.
