yes they can and will . it's called flea enemia . you have a serious problem and need to take action . loose the bayer and dip your dogs in permethrin 10% according to the dog dip instructions on the label then get you some  MARTINS I.G. REGULATOR  and mix it in a sprayer with permethrin 10% and spray your kennels and a good 15 foot perimiter around the kennels . you are going to have to break the hatching cycle of the fleas before you will ever get the problem in check . that's what the martins does it steralizes the adult fleas and all hatching eggs that are coming , it also works the same on flies and knats will help with ticks also but isn't labeled as such . you my friend need to get busy in a hurry . i would check all the other dogs and start them on anti-biotics and b-12 . good luck without using an i.g. regulator you will be waisting your time and money .
