He is only 7 months old...a lot can change, including one bad hog. He tries to catch the wrong hog to ealry in his life and it may be his last hog or it may be enough to make him stand back. If it were me and you didnt want him to catch, I'd put him on a ruff sow and let her knock him around a little bit. Or you could try a muzzle. At months old, he probably doesn know how to hold a hog and he probably doesnt have the jaw strength at such a young age.
