I agree with Bob.  It's bout hunting your dog hard and knowing it right down to the flea babies on it.  Start naming them suckers and you've done pretty good  Cheesy

It helps though, case in point with yourself Bob.  You have a great line of Cur dogs.  You've hunted them for so long and seen about everything you could imagine when it comes to this line, that you automatically know somethings wrong just based off past experiences from hunting with the parents, grand parents, and great grand parents of the dog.  It makes life easier when you come to know what to expect.

I will agree that knowing your dogs help...

But by the way I read this post, and I could be wrong, it sounds like this dog hasnt been on many runners...
She finds them and they stay bayed..

Maybe she doesnt have much bottom to her, or shes just not used to having to actually chase the hog once she finds them..  Huh?
