Hey that leg looked sick.     Probably keep some campho phenique on it or something..... I like granulex for the dogs, but imagine it would burn a little.

i used that betadine (cheap wal-mart version)  a couple times a day on my cut and it worked well.  i washed it with anti-bacterial soap, then patted it dry and then applied the betadine.  it's gonna take a while to heal though.  seemed like mine healed slower than any other wound i've ever had.
