I took some 2" and 3" pvc and cut them in 16" lengths. Then I put a cap on one end, filled them with foam insulation, capped the other end (it had an eye bolt in it), and finally put some reflective tape on the opposite end from the eye hook.

Yesterday, I put them out in a line beside the river channel on Lake Palestine. This morning I caught 6 nice high fin blues and had two others twist off.

When I got back I am doing some modifications to my rig. The guy at the sporting goods store told me that they are outlawing the tarred line. I had to buy the green stuff and it is too limp and tangles too easy. Anyway, I had enough to relplace the line on 3 noodles. I found some tarred line on the internet and have ordered.

The way I rig mine is as follows. I take 30' of line and put a big snap swivel on one end and this is connected to my weight. I had some I beams that were scrap from my shop so I cut them in 4" pieces and use them for weights. I come up 3' and put a swiven on the main line and one at 6'. The stagends are 1' long and I use circle hooks. I use enough line so that the noodle will float on its side and wrap the extra line around the eye hook and then tie it off.
