In 1999, I drove to Monroe, LA and picked up 3 pups from an old man. His kin owned the 1997 Uncle Earl's Champion or something along those lines, I don't not recall. I gave SilvertonBoarDogs a black and tan and I kept a male and female black/greay/white. A lot of his older dogs went back to this "Rooster" dog, or to my "Possum" female. This is where he and I started with the hog dogging aspect of working dogs. We'ed chase cattle in the daylight and hogs in the dark with the same dogs. High prey drive, will hunt whatever you teach her, stubborn as a mule, and not a single ounce of quit.
