They breed them in Louisiana just like they do every where else... good ones and bad ones. I've had both from there.

Wish I could go back to when I was a kid and get some my kinfolks had. They were all big, block headed type dogs. They didn't have papers on them and just called them cur dogs. But they were all leopard and a lot of them had blue eyes. Unfortunately, the last ones they had was when I was in high school in the late 80's.
