I have a good friend that lives in Amite La.  He has a couple hundred acres of commercial pine that is about 15 yrs. old. He's  on some
sort of conservation program designed to restore the natural Bob white habitat. I think they planted  switch grass throughout the thinned
out pine trees. They are seeing a few coveys but not many.  How do you go about turning them loose? At what age ? do you have to keep
them in a holding pen on the property for a certain time before turning them loose ?
