RL, it is just a coincidence that the rice seemed to work.....from what I gave read on the phone forums anyway, there is a detailed thread on why it doesn't work and why folks think it does.  It also gives the best way ti actually dry them out and try to save them. Search the DROID boards and see if you can find it......before everyone says rice saved there phone it prolly was gonna be ok just drying out anyway from what I have read.
