YELLOWBLACKMASK.........That "funny" odor you are smelling on the brindles is what an actuall dog smells like. I realize you may not be aware such odors becuase you hunt them yeller belly dogs, and they are too busy sucking tail pipe to smell like anything other than exaust. Oh well, atleast you dont hunt with catahoulas. By the way........WHY ARE YOU ALLWAYS SHOUTING YOUR HANDLE?

In all seriousness, The best dogs I've hunted behind were brindle or black. When It comes to color, I actually prefer red dogs. Easier to see in the woods and they run cooler in the summer than dark dogs. Its a shame that the red gene is recessive to black. Black and tan is a fun color for cur dogs.

. It helps me pick out the true cur dog men, from the wannabes who don't know that Cur dogs come in Black and tan.
