Radio tracker works off radio frequencies and is a lot more reliable than gps to some people. Where I hunt it's thick land, lots of creeks, rivers and pine trees! You will lose signal with that gps way before the radio tracker, I run a dc 30 collar with my classic strike collar if they get out to far and I lose range on the gps I can get a direction to move in so I can pick em back up! They both work good and gps is nice to have but so are the classic systems just IMO
