Ive got a litter of yella dogs on the ground that will be 4 weeks old on sunday.  The pups are walkin around good, growlin and tryin to bark at just about everything.  Im thinkin its about time to start feedin them soaked feed, id like to get them weened off soon they are really draggin their momma down.

I think my last litter started with feed at about four weeks, but just wanted some opinoins on when yall start feedin pups.
I start at 3 to 4 weeks when i feel teeth. Either add warm water or milk to soften hard food and as days go by i use less water or milk until they are eating hard food. Usually at 5 weeks they require no water or milk in it. Make sure you have water for them to drink and i HIGHLY recomend Sulmet in the drinking water. You can get a bottle at most feed stores and it will prevent them from getting cocciddia when they step in the water with dirty feet. Use about 2 tablespoons full per gallon and change it 1 time per day. I also start worming with nemex 2 at 2 weeks. Directions on bottle. I have raised puppies for many years and this has always worked for me. A friend with 40 years experience told me about the Sulmet. Good luck. I have seen pictures of your dogs, should be some lookers and hunters from the stuff you have said on how you hunt. Post pictures.
