Matt and I sent two catch dogs to one a few hundred yards out. Turned out to be a no eared boar in a bad thicket... the outcome wasn't very pretty.

That was the last time I sent bulldogs from a distance.

To this day will not send a bulldog from a distance on a moving bay because of that.  I have seen it too many times especially if the dogs are baying hard it is usually a good hog.  Sometimes he stops sometimes not but Ive seen the walking bay plenty.
