Sounds like you got a tear in ur meniscus to me, I tore my ACL and both sides of the meniscus. Doc told me a severed ligament won't continue to hurt but the meniscus will because its constantly seeing pressure/stress. If your lucky it will just be a small tear still hurts like all h*** but its easy to fix with the technology available.
