That's makes sense. I don't really like introducing older dogs either. But i don't know if i would feel comfortable going in to leg a hog without some type of bully  breed on its ear. I hope you find a breed that works for you Smiley

I was just talkin to my husband about this earlier today. I don't think I'd feel fully confident goin in to leg a big hog with a non-bulldog holdin him. While a non bulldog breed may be good at catchin and holding, it's a big concern to me if said dog got hit real good, and felt some good pain. I don't believe that a non bulldog type dog is gonna have the high pain tolerance that bulldog type breeds have. But that's just my .02 cents.
