Thanks yellowblackmas your dogs don't track? this dog that's all she does but she bays and will catch with the catch dog. I think I want another full blood dog I would have to see half pit half ridge.
Never observed a full blooded one take and work a track to my liking. Probably been through 25 plus throughout the years from different types of backgrounds. Just not a high% enough for me to keep trying. (I figure there could be some but no need to continue looking when that department is happily filled).
They always impressed me on the catch department. They are extremely fast, agile, heat tolerant, gritty dogs that will suck a running hog up in full catch gear like a noodle. I have saw numerous full blooded ones that catch hard but throw a dash of pit in em and they are war horses.
