my bulldog took a cut like that . it was funny cause when he drank water and pulled his head up water would run out [ wich is a good thing ] keeps the wound clean and flushed out . put it on some anti-biotics for a bit and whatch for infection . took mine about 3 weeks to heal up , or i should say close up . doctor with cut heal and or veteracyn . the dog can't reach it too clean any dirt off the cut so just make sure it's clean .
