I really apreciate everyones input, and halfbreed i know and agree with you 90% you have to spend time using and working any dog for them to be the best. Im 35yrs old and consider my self very lucky to have been raised in a place were there was still open range (ward 8 lasalle parish la) and the old men made there living raising hogs, cattle & commercial fishing. It was like that until i was about 18-19, then they let the city folk vote on our stocklaw and they passed it. I could kick my self for not making sure that them Whatley/Allen catohoulas made it, it was exstremely hard to get one from his ole grouchy a$$ though and i guess maybe out of spite his son let them die out and went to yellow dogs (And not because they were better because the yellow ones "he had" wasnt).
But I got to see and use some good dogs that minded better than most kids. Sorry for going on and on, I will check on the Keating dogs. Thanks
