Ive hunted for ranchers and farmers in the past that have demanded we shoot the hogs or we couldn't hunt. More recently Ive hunted for land owners that wouldn't allow firearms to be used so out comes the catch dogs.
What ever the circumstances may be a catch dog, a knife, or a rifle just ain't to effective without those good find/bay dogs are they?
Something about haveing a gun and light on their property they dont like?

there's also Something about a good find/trail dog that WILL stop a hog and hold it till you get their and soon as you leg it their off to find another just gets my blood pumping !!!!
I have delt with the bulldogs and gritty jug headed cur dogs, i was young then, that was what everyone wanted !! the baddest catch dog!! now that i think about it i coulda caught way more hogs and spent way less time fixxen dogs on the tail gate if id'a listen to them ole timers and got me one or two good bay dog's!!! that will catch when you get there or one good listenin find/catch dog!!!!
