Ben, if some of these crosses don't work, you can throw pedigree,intense linebreeding and ruthless selection out the window. Every line of their pedigree has a dog or dogs that people involved in the breeding of them, sit around and tell stories about. If we could teach them to read, we would have it made, just tack up a pedigree and tell them to see for themselves what they are to turn out like.
We might have to do them like I did some of the race horses I've trained. Take a copy of their papers and an Alpo can and tack them up over the feed tube and tell them they have a choice.
