I got to see probably 15 different dogs work, mostly what I would consider "grove dogs" or "grass patch dogs",  hot nosed, short range, rough dogs.  They tried dropping their dogs down with mine(which I was not real keen on lol) but pretty much every time, their dogs would fall out real quick and mine would take over at that point.

Only 2 dogs down there stood out to me that I am very fond of, brother and sister by the same stud dog as Whaler/Sawfish/Spinner.   The male is young but turning into a fine dog... Big, good lookin' leopard almost identical in build and hunting style as Whaler.  Real neat dog, I would LOVE to breed him to my Shiner gyp if I can talk him into it  Grin  The female is one of the most amazing wind dogs I have ever seen, I mean if there is a hog within' a mile, this bitch can wind it... crazy good.  It appears that the "Willy" stud dog to all these dogs was throwing some strong traits, very constistently.  It's a shame he's dead now, as we would dang sure like to make the cross again... but hopefully with these sons we can do something.
