as far as i know the reason most tournaments dont except barr hogs is because most buying stations wont buy them cause packin plant wont take them. and that cuts into the money that the host is makin for the tournament. dont know if that is the case or if the buyer happens to b takin the hogs to meat plant to send over seas.
That's the first I've heard of buying stations not taking them...
Not that we catch many around here, but I know we sold them one Barr that weighed 300 on the dot and they never mentioned anything like that.... I believe it was a southern buying station...
