I was raised as a Barr being a tradition being passed on from the first settlers of Texas. A Barr is a trophy to me any day. A privilege to get to catch a hog that someone took the time, & trouble to cut & rerelease. That is intended to one day be a trophy with the best quality wild game available to eat! Is this not part of hunting, a time honored tradition! Watch " Old Yelled" Cut, release with cur dogs! Guess I'm just old fashion and hung in my ways!
