You're not gonna take a any pit to any bird dog and produce the dogs buddylee is talking about. If it were that easy then everyone would own one. A good linebred/well bred game dog to another very athletic and hard hunting birddog gives you a chance to get the dogs you're looking for.
It's just like Cur dogs, find the best and hope the breeding works.
