I've decided to rephrase the way "I" talk about "stopping a runner". Lol
I agree if your dogs never have a hog bayed, it breaks from 1st bark for instance then its gonna be dang hard to stop. This is my new definition of a runner

When I talk about putting "stopping" power into my yard I'm not gonna be talking about a dog that can prevent the above. Im talking about a dog that will do everything in its power (teeth to butt) every time to keep a hog from breaking a bay. I know you can't bay and catch without a break in a high percentage but that's my goal
