For fleas I've been using anything I could get for cheap. Advantage has worked the best for me. I have read about the Bayer tree and shrub before and I'm gonna try it when the fleas start hopping again. I have found the trick with those flea meds is to keep the dogs from rubbing it off long enough for it to soak into the skin on the back.... about 10 hours. I just lock them in there kennel which is over cement tiles so they cant rub thier backs in the dirt and rub it off before it ever soaks in.
I use Ivermictin and safeguard for wormer. Is it safe to give either one of those to preg. or nursing females?
