No, we aren't beating a dead horse, we're beating a pile of bones that has been picked over by the buzzards. And no, no current TDHA president hunted the Los Casadores hunt last year, but two currently elected board members did. Myself and boarwild hunted the hunt on two different teams. Reasons for hunting in that tournament and not the TDHA hunt are our business, but if asked in a respectful manner we would be happy to tell why. For me, the reason is simple, I had already agreed to hunt the tournament with a group of young hunters here before I knew that the dates were going to be the same. I'm not the kind of person to break my word to a group of young hunters that I had promised to take hunting. As for boarwild, to the best of my memory he also had agreed to do the hunt before the scheduling conflict was realized. We as board members are elected to help the organization as best we can, and as adults have the ability to seperate our personal feelings from decisions that need to be made as a board. We as a board encourage all new members to help with the organization and welcome questions about how the organization and board work as a whole to help protect our rights as dog hunters. Having said that, I would also like to say that I would hope that a new member would take the time to get to know each of us and the way the President, Vice President, and board of directors work before making accusations as to "our" intentions. After all we are giving our time, money, and other resources to try and help protect and promote the rights that we all enjoy. Anthony
