I don't work with them a lot but have had a few head. Boer seem to be the best selling meat goats. I don't have any and don't eat the meat i just stick to beef but I know lots of people that like that kind of meat. Look in to the breed I'm sure you'll find the same if your folks are wanting to get into it seriously. Hah and they do work as good lawn mowers. I'll let one or two in the yard and in about two days theyve got your lawn cut pretty good.
