Deaf Dog

well it's in the genes . i own a def cat , she's my yard dog critter dog . would never think on hunting her . kinda hard to call your dog in when it can't here you . wont be able to honor a bay cant here them . they can make good bay pen dogs but being turned loose to bay wild hogs, not me . mine understands hand signals and that works as long as you can get them to look at you . when mine was a young pup we was in the woods all the time [ when she wouldn't let me out of her site ] and we tracked many a hog to it's bed . [ i had allready broke her from baying them ] she is a smart dog going on 12 years old now . now i have to go and wake her up to get after the yotes at night lol but unless you are an extreemly patient person with dogs and have the extra time involved to train a def dog . i wouldn't . and i will never invest the time in another . i would seriously recomend finding it a home on a farm somewhere where it can just be a dog .
