  i like the flaps  my bulldog got cut on his leg and shoulder a couple times . instead of buying a new vest i just modified mine by adding  flaps to it . an old pair of boot tops sewed and rivited on the leg holes did the trick . one boot was all it took just cut the top off it split it down the center and used each half per hole . never had a problem with him getting used to it .
