for me most cuts are left open and I will use cut heal 3 times a day if possible but twice a day will work...If I see that the dog is getting sore or infected I start one amoxillin capsule twice a day for a week. I keep several bottles of 100 capsules amoxillin (500 mg) around just for days like those...I have friends that go to Mexico every now and then so I place an order when I get low on meds...my kids and grandkids use up the amoxillin more tham my dogs do...
