for deep muscle cuts...cut heal...the muscle grows quickly from the inside out and the cut shrinks and leaves a small and smooth scar...not too long ago one of my dogs had a 6 inch cut by at least 2 inches and the skin was hanging...the vet wanted 500 dollars and I took the dog home and treated him myself for about 10 dollars worth of amoxillin and cut heal...

this cut didn't heal as well as I would have liked because it was huge... but it saved me quite a bit of money doing it myself and I didn't have to worry about cones and the dog ripping out stitches...
