I have wanted to do this for a while, and this post made me decide to go ahead and do it.  It took about 1hr to cut out cut collar with a razor blade, it should be well worth the time spent.  The main reason I did this is it's a pain trying to adjust the cut collar & the garmin collar so they fit dogs good without gaps in either one.
