Clint, I think it's the other way around, maybe y'all are jealous cuz you can't catch any good boars that's why y'all are complaining so much about not being able to use barrs in contest. Stop trying to put the shoe on the other foot. Realize ppl down here don't cut hogs because they actually help eliminate hog problems instead of making them eat more!! So we will never cut hogs to take advantage of, or as y'all say make them TASTE better!!!
You are literally one of the most unintelligent people I have ever heard talk about hog hunting. I have caught some dandy boar hogs well over 300 lbs and guess what I done with them? Cut em.
And If you really wanna know my opinion I think the whole idea of a "hog hunting" contest is stupid. It's all turned into my dogs are better than your dogs BS.
I like to go and cut boar hogs. Hell I don't even like carrying tie rope, much less drag one of them things out of the woods.
