I'm looking for pups that will have the hunt in them and not afraid to get out.

I only get pups. They may or may not do anything but at least you don't get lied to. I just gave some pups away not too long ago. Some people just wanted to pay for them. But there is no promise with a pup. The big advantage I think is that they tend to fit better. If you buy even a started dog they have learned from the other owner. That can be good or bad to you. Figure out what kind of dog you want and hunt with people that hunt with those dogs. You will get a call that they have pups and you can have one. That is long as you are honest. Never ever sell a dog given to you. Even if you paid a small amount for the dog you should call the person, tell them what is going on. Nobody likes to give a pup or even sell it and then see it up in the dog trade or on another website because people on here do look. Pull that and you will have a hard time getting any good dogs.
