Felines can't/do not carry the canine Parvo virus. Felines do however have their own strain of a nasty virus called Panleukopenia which yields similar symptoms to that of Parvo in canines, but it is NOT zoonotic/transmittable to another species.
Whatever vet said that felines can carry the canine Parvovirus should be fired, lol.
