If my dogs are in the water then so am I.

That is how I roll. I keep zip lock bags in my gear. I put my phone in a bag and my wallet with my hunting license in another bag. I tend to go in without thinking. I think my dogs better go get that pig wherever it is. So I better get there and catch that pig wherever it is. I try to bring a couple changes of clothes for a reason. But I normally just go find water and get water in my boots when I start a hunt so I don't woory about getting my feet wet.
