I don't know about other trapers , i trip all my traps durring hot weather  and don't set them until i know i will have time to check them regularly. But through the years i'v had hogs get into a triped trap and die before i found them !! Don't like it but it happens. Also have went to check traps and found tore up hogs and dead hogs with human foot prints all around . This trap was a quater mile in the property .If you saw these hogs YOU ARE TRESPASSING!!!!!!
