Thanks every one for the comments they have helped!Rdjustham, yeah I know it's tough to find a real Florida cur but I live in the heart of Florida and know a bunch cowboys that "supposedly" have jam up ones, thinking about getting a puppy out of them. Dads Partin he says and mom is some other type of Florida cur.
Does any one know much about the Partin bloodline?

I have owned true Partin dogs & hunted with plenty of others. They are just like any other. Some are jam up and do everything you would expect completely silent on track . Others are open on track and not worth the bullet it  would take to kill em.  Basically it's a name that for some reason sells in the hog dog world. Why I don't know. Probably because of the peddlers out there. I have owned dogs from Platts , Kemphers , Mormans, Deseret, Partins. I have had jam up dogs out of all of them in the past 25 years. I'm sticking to some dogs we been breeding for some time now.  Mears Blackmouth, Florida cur, and a pinch of rednose.
