Throw him in a small cattle trailer or a real small pen with a hog (little to no cutters preferably) and he'll figure it out from there. He'll get tired of getting his @$$ kicked.

I have never "trained" a cd so to say. the method I have used it EASY and has worked for me for years............
put 1 bay dog in a pen with a good sow or boar......let the bay dog settle the hog into a corner.....turn cd loose from opposite end of the pen. he will more than likely get hyped up and catch. if he doesn't pull him out and do it again except drop him right next to the hog the next go round. Odds are he will get his butt whooped on a bit and get pissed off and the rest will be history..........may not be the right way but it has never failed for me......come to think of it.....every cd I have owned started just like that and they have all ended up working out good.
