I've tried everything and I finally came to the conclusion that some stink and some don't. I've shot some young ones in the head that died right there and never knew what was going on and they still stunk. I've also shot some huge ones that had been bayed for a long time that didn't stink at all. I think it has to do with genetics. Best way is to just cut them and turn them loose... works 100% of the time.
