I know it's just TV and I don't want to start a debate, but it's gotten too silly for my taste.
I've been watching the show just because of Lea, she makes it worthwhile and I can only think how lucky her husband is to have a woman like that.
But I just finished watching the episode with Ronnie's niece. She was a bright spot on the show and looked like a great hog dogger herself, so I was thinking I could tolerate Ronnie and his antics a while longer. But then he goes and shoots her school book?
That was the last straw for me. I deleted the show from my DVR recording schedule. The other Creek boys redeemed themselves this season and all seem to be 'good ole boys' and I wish them the best.
I do agree with you that they are more than likely good ol boys/girls and 95% of us would probly get along with em great but in my opinion that show is WAY too fake/scripted..........and yea yea yea I know its made for TV BUT I personally think it is terrible, not blaming the actors so much as the directors/ editors, I know it has to be something that the general public will watch BUT DANG, WHY SO MUCH DRAMA??? I go to the woods to enjoy the time with my friends/family and to catch a hog or 2, not to be constantly yellin hollerin and arguin, if I EVER went on a hunt like those trainwrecks I would pack up and adios it!
It may not seem this way but I honestly would hunt with any of the campbells or creeks any day of the week as long as there ain't any camera's around, I bet off camera they are good down to earth country folk like the rest of us, TV will make you do some crazy things!
